Aimee Bruce Weekly Post 12#

Izima Kaoru is a fashion photographer. He has become well known for his series "Landscape with a Corpse". Kaoru started capturing these dramatic landscapes in 1995. For almost 2 decades he has recruited female models to describe their perfect death and what they would wear in their final moments. When observing the image above, one can tell that there is a profound depth of field. The aperture is most likely F22. This would mean that the shutter speed must be 1/8 of a second in order to get a decent exposure. During editing, Izima probably added more of a greenish tint to the color balance.

Izima Kaoru's "Landscape with a Corpse" series involves female models and their idea  of the perfect death in their favorite couture fashion. His concept for the series was to change the way people view death. Izima believes that people should be content with the life they lived when leaving this world.
