Ashly Mollienido's Weekly Post #12

William Gedney was an american photography who's work was not widely recognized until after his death. I was drawn to his photography through his Images of Houses at Night.

During some of our critiques some of you guys are practicing taking images at night which I enjoy because personally, I am not too great at accomplishing those types of images. Gedney shows a lot of repetition through the architecture itself and the streets that the houses are on. He also capture the light perfectly, making it know that it is night time, utilizing the the street lights as it's light source, which actually gives the photos a sense of creepiness, but still Gedney executes these images successfully.
