Lee Towndrow is a visual artist based in New York City. He has already done some pretty big jobs, and he's not finished yet. Starting as a designer, Towndrow found his love in photography and film making. I definitely found humor in his collection of photographs.
This is "Kids Take Over", which is so stinking cute. His compositions were perfectly planned, having a good balance of color and lighting, really giving the viewer a sense of a school building. What really was interesting to me was his paper portraits, not to mention he has also photographed my favorite actress, Lena Duham, beautifully. His choice of the color combinations and the placement of his subject gives the viewer a strong relationship between the subject and it's composition. These are just a few, but if you ever have a minute, you should check out his site and look at the rest of the work. His different, sense of vintage, style definitely is shined throughout every image of his.
And of course I couldn't not show his paper portrait of Lena Dunham, my girl from The HBO series called Girls. Season 3 starts in January! Xo
