Matthieu Pegard is a spanish photographer who photographs primarily landscapes. He has a relatively small name in the art and photography community but many of his images are amazing. More specifically, Pegard has a series of photographs that he has made of industrial settings. He photographs factories and production facilities during multiple times of the day or night. His use of longer exposures has an interesting effect on the clouds and exhaust smoke at the factories and really ads to the composition of the photos. I selected Pegard for this blog post because the pictures that he takes of these industrial environments relates closely to the themes that i am trying to capture moving into the final projects of the semester.
