Shane Lavalette is an
American photographer who is well known for starting the Lavalette and Light Work. He
graduated from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston with a BFA. Many
of his images have been showed at many museums, art galleries, and colleges all
over United States. Lavalette is also a editor who has had his photographs
displayed in many magazines like The New
York Times Magazine.
I find Lavalette’s
work very interesting. In the three images above he focuses heavily on the rule
of thirds and you can see how he was successful with that rule. Each of his
photographs is very intriguing and different from the next one.
