Patrick Demarchelier

Patrick Demarchelier is a well known french photographer that mainly shots fashion covers since the late 1970s. His work has been published in magazines such as Vogue, Glamour, and Rolling Stone. Demarchelier has photographed many big name celebrities over the years and has done many international advertising campaigns for many high end companies, such as TAG Heuer, Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein and many more. Patrick Delmarchelier is well-known by his colleagues those he works with for his kindness and patience.
Kindness and patience are two qualities that are best to have as a photographer in my book. Because  it takes more than you think to get that picture that you think is perfect. You need to have patience to deal with those people that aren't familiar with the ins and out of photography and what it really takes to make a good picture. I admire these photos above and how they have a sense of elegance to them. Especially the one with the bull. I can only imagine how duficult that would be to get the bull to stay laying down and posing for the picture. It takes a sense of patience to get a wonderful picture like that.
