1) Ghirri took a very complex scene and made it simple by putting a focal point against an active background. He stood a few yards back from the subject while taking the picture. The first and third are more similar due to it being one subject not moving. From the look of the pictures the time frames seem different, listing top to bottom it looks like late afternoon, mid-afternoon, and dawn.
2) These pictures all have a different feel to them. The first one seems like its trying to show you something from all the lines and seem so direct. the second one is showing a joyful situation between two people. and the third is almost sad to look at cause its pale colored, empty, it seems like its cold and desolate, like a lonesome feeling.
3) As i said before its like a mix of emotions with all these pictures my favorite would have to be the bottom one due to the amount of feeling it has in it. it makes me want to visit that place exactly how it is in the picture just to experience the feeling of being there.
