1) Jason Fulford uses color. It is unclear if the medium is digital or analog, but suffice to say, the ease with which appears to work suggests a smaller format camera. His subjects are centered in the frame....
2) These pictures are of the minutia of a day. They are not of the grand landscape but of the landscape of the everyday. Perhaps Fulford is suggesting that we might find something ecstatic and invigorating in closely inspecting those everyday objects that we tend to overlook...
3) I see so many freaking pictures of grand mountainscapes, wavy beaches, smiling, beautiful people doing things that I can't afford; it's truly nice for an artist to suggest that I might find some peace and satisfaction from the little things.
