1) Elisa Ferrari uses a 35mm film camera. Her
love for photography and photojournalism was inspired by her dad who worked in
photojournalism. She considers herself a commercial photojournalist, and is

2) Each of the three images above are part of
her series ‘The Sami Way’. They show the
environment that the semi-nomadic people live in. A cold snow covered winter
that these people make a living in. Some of them reindeer herders, whose way of
life has been passed down for generations.
3) Ferrari shows their way of life, culture,
landscape, and the bond that these people have with each other. She attempts to show daily life, rituals, and
culture through her photos.
