Parker Austin Weekly Artist Post #2

Arnold Kramer

1) Kramer's photos don't seem to have any central focus due to the fact that they are all scenery photographs. they were all shot in what seem to be darkly lit but not pitch black rooms from the shaded areas around the edges and are all take from about 4-5 feet away. Im not sure if they are all pictures of the same house but they seem to have the same style of furniture and have the same dated look.
2) The set of photos seem to have a feeling of melancholy to them, it seem to be the home of an elderly couple who put a lot of years into this home. The lighting definitely makes the pictures seem more real than just pixels and you get a sense of how these people live their lives day to day.

3) When I first saw the bottom picture my entire body got a strange feeling. Like i have seen this place before and then i realized all of these pictures remind me of how my house use to be when i was younger and we had it renovated. I was so accustomed to how it looked then that i am appalled by how it looks now. Seeing all of these photos flooded my mind with so many memories, but mostly these three.
