Michael Wolf

In this series Wolf has photographed art that has been found on the streets of Hong Kong. He found his art while walking down streets and allies and places that he called "no mans land". None of his pictures have been arranged.

Wolf's pictures could all be considered a form of sculpture. The objects that he photographs are all found as is. They all have a bright or colorful subject against a more dull background.

These photos interest me because they remind me of an on going assignment that we have in Assemblage class. The assignment is to find and photograph found sculpture every week. The photos that Wolf has taken are pretty much all found sculptures.
