Eliot Porter

Eliot Porter is famous for his American nature photography. As one of the first photographers who captured landscape in color. Porter was considered one of the best nature photographers of all time and maybe the one who has attracted most number of people towards nature photography. He started using color photography in 1939 ages before his contemporaries. Which he became very successful at.
I enjoy Porter's photography, the way he captures the vivid colors of yellow and red in the trees. He does an amazing job of balancing out the photos and keeping the attention on the picture itself. Porter also creates mystery in his photo like the one with the bridge and how you don't know what around the bend and you want to find out. If there is one important thing i have learned this setter is to create mystery in your photos because it makes it much more interesting to the viewer.
