These images are very powerful to me. They were shot in a portrait style, and resemble school portraits that were taken when you were a kid back in the day. The only difference is that in a lot of the images the students aren't smiling, and they have expressions on their faces that suggest there is a story to be told about them. The interesting about this series is that these images were part of book called "class pictures".  In the book the images are next to text which make the images more of an object.

  1. This is very interesting. Its like those pictures that they do not want you to see. They also kind of play on stereotypes.
