1. Casper Claasen is a photographer from Amsterdam whose photographs document the different sides of solitude. In the above photographs, Claasen's focus is on the active ubjects within a large space. The landscape photographs high use of aperture and low shutter speed is what makes Claasen's photographs great. The high ISO setting is also what makes these photographs appear in high quality and make the colors more vibrant.
2. I would assume that Claasen made these photographs by puttin ghis subjects in settings where they do not typical belong, but seem natural. For example, the businessman on the beach is unusual, however Claasen does a good job of capturing this subject in the middle of the frame, in such a large desolate area.
3. I really enjoy Claasen's photos because of the wide angle aspect and focusing on such a small portion. I also like that Claasen decides to focus on the subject of solitude. When most people hear of the word solitude they think of loneliness in a sense of sadness. However, Claasen does a good job of putting his subjects in unusual places, performing unusual acts within them.
