Diana Arbus

This week I have decided to dedicated to Diana Arbus. Diana is known for being one of the most well known 20th century photographers and her unusual spooky photos. She was born in New York City on March 14, 1923. Her husband Allan Arbus got her interested in photography and taking pictures. She particularly enjoying taking photographs of people around downtown New York City.  

Many of her works were included in fashion magazines such as Vogue and Esquire. She even had collections of her photography in the NYC Museum of Modern Art. After ending her marriage with her husband, she struggled with issues such as depression and anxiety. She committed suicide in her apartment on July 26, 1971. The 2006 movie 'Fur' starring Nicole Kidman was based on her life. Below are a few pictures I enjoyed.
