Michael Watts weekly blog post #7

Andrew B. Myers is a Canadian Photographer who is known for photographing simple object against a solid background. His work has been featured in Time Magazine, GQ, and Wired Magazine amongst many others.  His style is very graphically oriented and almost looks computer generated in many instances.  Many of his photos are reminiscent of pop art photographs and paintings from the 60s and 70s.  Myers pictures often have a very vintage feel and utilize a flat composition that contributes to their graphic appearance.
