Ken Schles

1. Ken Schles techniques for his photo book Invisible City, he captured all of his photos in black and white. His techniques ranged from action shots to still lifes in urban scenes that helped highlight his depiction of late night New York City's spontaneity life. Schle's used long exposures in low light to create the radiant glow and flare to his subjects.

2. Ken Schle's techniques supported his intent of the meaning of his photo book, Invisible City. The grain and blurred photographs give a sense of eeriness. He photographed subjects that seem to be innocent, but his pictures were to suggest a different perspective behind what we believe.

3. I throughly enjoy Ken Schle's style, and believe he will influence my photography. His use of lighting, competition and exploration are extremely admirable, and would help push myself out my comfort zone. His content and intents helped shine a light on the real New York image that is rarely achievable.
