Jason is a street photographer who lives a democratic way of life. He primarily uses an 8x10 camera to capture his pictures. He sees the world as unruly and discolored, but still sees it as beautiful. He also plays with the interaction of light and color to compose his composition.
As stated earlier Jason was fascinated with the democratic way of life. He attempted to capture the imperfect or better yet simplistic lifestyle the democratic people and lifestyle. Jason uses composition to his advantage to make the picture more powerful. He turns everyday life experiences into beautiful scenes.
I think Jason was very successful when making his pictures. I believe he achieves his purpose of capturing the democratic way of life. Jason struck me as a sensitive and insightful individual; all of his pictures are very simple but are pleasing to the eye. Jason clearly shows to an unruly lifestyle can be captured in an amazing, memorable way.
