Jang uses a variety of cameras that are both
digital and film. Leaving the shutter open for sometimes as long as eight hours
and developing from to 1 to 3 rolls of film. Traveling across the world from
Korea to Japan and America.
2.
Jang is influenced by the hardships that
individuals have gone and go through, mainly focusing on his heritage of North
and South Korea. She goes out her way to find abandoned sites, finding them
across the world and bring insight to where they were and what they once were. Reflecting
on the passage of time and the relentless cycle of construction, abandonment
and demolition.
3.
Jang presents wonderful pieces that resemble
mystery and story in his pictures. His work features the usage of warm and cool
colors and presenting some pictures as monotones of nature and the abonnement
of structure and life.
