1) Alex Prager uses color. It is unclear whether the pictures are shot using analog or digital. The First picture is bottom weighted with less and less people going up. The middle picture is just scattered spacing. The bottom picture is center weighted. The pictures are both complementary and contrasting. The picture seem to be taken with large format. The pictures are taken over 60 feet away expect for the first picture which might be a little closer.
2) All the pictures seem to be set in the 80's style of dressing. The top picture seems to be set at a train stop. The bottom two pictures show tragic circumstances showing two of the most horrible ways to die: drowning and burning.
3) I think its interesting to see such a take on life. Both of these pictures show a tragic way of dying. Is it show us the the eyes of someone being lost; or is it show show us the eyes and the hurt of the ones we leave behind.
