1. These photos are apart of the collection "Rural Fluorescent" and the Photographer is based in Belfast. This specific work is actually an exhibition that viewers can go see in person during a specific time frame. She asks that the viewers come between 7pm-9pm for the obvious lighting reasons and so the viewer gets the best experience out of it. I like that she has the photographs as well as the actual place she took them so it can be interactive and fun.
2. The photos are of real life buildings and landscapes that have been enhanced by fluorescent pops of color. The photographer really makes these everyday places look exciting and beautiful when adding these colors into the mix. The photos are taken at sunset to achieve the maximum brightness of the colors as well as achieving a realistic representation of the buildings.
3. I think i was attracted to these photos because i enjoy bright colors and the photographer used them in such a creative way that i thought it was unique and something you dont see everyday. She takes these ordinary places and photographs them with pops of color to make it exciting and enjoyable to viewers which i thought was very interesting. The camera light hits some of these strips of color and makes them really glow to their best ability and i think it adds depth to the pictures.
