1) Camilo Jose Vergara uses positioning. The medium seems to be digital. The subjects all have similar framing, taken at different various time frames. The subjects are center weighted. He seems to be standing at least 100 feet away to capture full building. The first picture creates a tangent along the right side of the building.
2) These pictures are of the progression of a building. The first is of an abandon building. The second is they are are starting rehabilitation on the building. The last is of the finished product. These pictures show the evolution of the building and possibly of life.
3) Its rare in today's world to see the evolution of something. To all the time that goes into a project. most people probably thought that the abandoned building with an eye sore. Then they view the construction as in the way. Not even paying attention to the process that goes into fixing this building. And then once it was finally done it was as if it had been there forever and no one really took the time to take in its beauty. And these series of pictures allow you to take in the time to appreciate the world around you.
