1) It appears that she unexposed her photos intentionally. She uses a range of shutter speeds. She seems to depict ordinary and sexual imagery. She stages shots with film. She does not digitally manipulate or alter her photographs, and she uses darkroom processes. She also works in black and white a kind of monochromatic scene.
2)The first image appears to be rather dark and underexposed. The subject isn't centered though the contrast of her body on the right with her election centered adds dynamic and draws the eye more to the reflection then her actual body. Another factor that effects the eye is that her body on the side is out of focus while her reflection is in focus. The second image is of another reflection but done so much differently from the first. Neither the subject nor the reflection are centered in this but with the image underexposed and the direction of the light the eye focuses more on the actual subject on the left then to her reflection. The last image most likely had a slower shudder speed showing the movement of the subject. the subject is now back lit instead of front lit like the first two images.
3) I chose these images because of the monochromatic images. I feel that a grey monochromatic scene does a good way of conveying emotion in a scene. I enjoy dramatic lighting with a monochromatic scene. It puts a lot of emphasis on the subject/subjects. I also liked the last image in particular. I like the show of movement in the image and you also get a chilling sense from the image as well.
