Carol Guzy
Carol Guzy is an American photographer from Pennsylvania. Carol was born on March 6, 1956. She was interested in the the nursing field until discovering her passion for photography. After graduating from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 1980, she became a photographer for the Miami Herald. A few years later she married and moved to Washington DC and began working for The Washington Post. Carol currently lives in Arlington Virginia.
She has received numerous awards and national praise in the photography world for her ability to capture raw emotion during times of crisis such as after major earthquakes and war. Carol has covered many major stories and her portfolio includes award winning pictures. Her well crafted and carefully chosen pictures make the viewer care about the subject matter and the story behind it.
