Cristina Irizarry Post #3

Mark Tipple is a photography based off Australia. He specializes in documentary work and has had his work published in such great places like the Discovery Channel, The BBC, and National Geographic. He also works along side nonprofit organizations to create awareness and positive social change through his photographs. Besides photography, he also works with video to document stories and events.

I was initially really attracted to his photographs because of these guys:

While looking through his photos, I did notice he focuses a lot on beach/island life. He's very much nature oriented in most of his photography. It looks like that nature is a very important part of his personal life, so it is no wonder it shows up so much on his art.

The way he can capture the natural elements is amazing. This water seems so real and tangible I can also feel it!

This next images is from his Alaska series. The panoramic views as pretty incredible. On his site he has even bigger images of views like this.

His candid photographs of people tell stories. I hope that one day my photography is developed enough so that I too can tell stories through images.

All these images can be found on his website among others. He also has a FB page you can follow.
