Christianne Harmon weekly Post #1

These photographs of the lions were taken by Michael "Nick" Nichols. They were for an article in August 2013 National Geographic Magazine. Nichols captured these photographs on three trips he made to the Serengeti, a region in northern Tanzania in Africa between July 2011 and January 2013. This was the first experiment in digital storytelling which included still images, video, text and audio. In the picture showing the moon rising Nichols used natural light; soon after, he switched to infrared. These photographs were so interesting showing the differences with some in color and some in black and white.
