Joshua Caudell - Weekly Artist Post 15

Rachel Glass

Rachel Glass has made images in homes streets with either people or without people in them. It says she wanted to do photos beyond what the limits of photography are believed to be. They tell a history with each photo because Northern Ireland is the historic department.

Each photo is taken in Northern Ireland. Each photo is done in bright lighting that is natural as it can be, both outside and inside. The photos show a great deal of the light without being over exposed. They have slightly low saturation so the colors appear flat.

I enjoy the lighting of these photos. They are different in their composition. When looking at the entire series of photos they don't fully show that both the person and the locations which makes the viewer wanting more.
