1. Derek Payne was the artist I decided to choose this week. His work is primarily landscapes, and large layouts of land and sea. Born and living in Worthing, West Sussex, Derek's love of photography started in 1996, when he brought his first 35mm SLR camera. He enhances his photos, and bring more drama with color and even motion.
2. Payne does a great job at making a picture even more vibrant. The landscapes that he chooses speak beautifully about the detail he wants to show in his images.His pictures almost seem as if they are drawn or painted, rather than just taken. He captures a ride range of distance and depth as well.
3.I personally enjoy color and manipulation. Payne bring out the stronger areas in his photos, which in turn causes the entire picture to stand out. The depiction of nature from his point of view shows even more beauty than it would normally. I enjoy the variations of light that he uses as well. He does an excellent job at bringing out the highlights.
