Muir Vidler is a photographer based in London.  He works for different magazines including New York times.  His pictures are primarily colors and based on people.  He tried to take pictures of people that contradict the norm of what people are suppose to be conceived as in everyday life.

His intention of color brings the traditional portrait out of the norm and into the art world.  The contrast of colors are intentional and create a unique composition each time.  The people Vidler works with seem to be able to pose for him with ease and create portraits to be proud of.  Vibrant colors blast the viewer into paying attention and holding the attention.

Allot of these pictures are not something that blows me away personally but he is very good at what he does.  I do admire his work, I just haven't found a piece of his that I was attached to yet but that doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend this artist to anyone.  In fact I encourage anyone to check him out as even if you don't find what you are looking for, his photos are interesting to view.
