                                                                        Zoriah
Zoriah is a photojournalist, a critically acclaimed photographer with over 14 years over experience in shooting conflict, crisis, and disasters in developing countries. Zoriah was also the winner of the VII portfolio contest, the Morepraxis Photojournalist of the year award and also included in World's Picture News with the most powerful imagery. His work appears in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Newsweek, and Focus.

The photos I chose from his galleries of journals were the "Soldiers Life" album. It is cool seeing what they actually go through at the time of crisis and emergencies and to see how helpful our military is. In the first photo he managed to capture the glare of the light on the floor split half way so you can see most of the soldiers looking at our countries flag standing getting orders for their next mission, The second photo I like because he captured the military vehicle in the middle of the palm trees with the soldiers in position. The third photo is my favorite because he captured the lighting and shadows like we learned in class in the 5th or 6th week, and he got the soldiers walking to their destination in almost looking like a perfect formation for making a great photograph.

I like the concepts that Zoriah chose to use, as well as the images he captured throughout his journal of photographs of the soldiers at war and while they are completing important tasks. I also like how he captured the military vehicle in the middle of the trees with one soldier on each side of the vehicle in perfect position. I love how Zoriah chose to make photos of things occurring around the world showing us what actually occurs when we aren't able to see or know what is going on or sometimes just unaware of the other countries issues and concerns.
