1) Slim's focus was to photograph high society socialites like celebrities and famous people. He aimed to show beautiful people doing beautiful things in beautiful places. The time period of these images are from between the 50's and the 80's. He seems to work with perspective a lot and centering his subjects.
2) The first image is a wide landscape shot of an obvious luxurious place. The people look high class and care free. The second image is of a women lounging by a pool with the same palm trees surrounding it giving the image an air of a care free socialite with no worries. The last image is of a women sitting by a pool with some friends probably. Slim's use of color and light in this image is very captivating.
3) I choose these images because the colors and the way Slim uses light captures my eye. The subject matter is very different then what I would photograph personally which provides a interesting dynamic to look at that. The images seem almost to perfect like these celebrities or socialites have no problems in their lives that we all know is a lie. The last image in particular seems like a hint at that hidden secret or other world these high class people live in.
