Ibolya Feher

Ibolya Feher is a British photographer who enjoys photo-projects. For this project, she chose to photograph nuns at one of the most strict convents in the world. These nuns have been vowed to silence (except for prayer time) for years. Feher did a series of their life on the convent, including landscapes, still-life, and portraiture. She wanted to capture the daily life of this un-seen choice.

I just love these pictures because of how they beautifully captured the every-day activities of these nuns. Because they live in silence, it makes me think what they're thoughts are during these chores. What are they debating, wondering about, battling, what is the conversation in their head?
