Sarah Widenhofer - Weekly Post #8

Tracy Morford is a New York City based photographer that combines documentary and fine art photography to create timeless, almost surreal pictures. She often shoots in color, though some of her portraiture and landscapes are done in black and white.  She photographs both men and women, using their surroundings and body language to create a story.  Her subjects are limitless.  She has photographed indoors and outdoors, near her home and in foreign countries.

Throughout her photos, one can tell she pays attention to light and color. Her photos give a sense of depth both to the eye and to the content.  The audience can almost put them self in the situation,  or create a story or emotion in their mind to fit the photo.  What I appreciate most about her photos are how well thought out they are technically, yet they are still playful and vibrant.
