Paul Ruehrmund Weekly Post

Daniel Forster is primarily a sailboat racing photographer.  He works for Rolex covering their yacht races around the world and has been the official photographer for several America’s cup teams.  He has covered eleven America’s Cups and ten Olympic Games.  His pictures have appeared in every major nautical magazine and have appeared on the cover of Time magazine.

He uses Canon equipment, a Canon 5D Mk III and a Canon 6D.  His primary lenses are a Canon 70-200 f2.8L Zoom and a Canon 400mm f/4.  He shoots most of his pictures from a speed boat but also uses a helicopter.  He uses Photo Mechanic, Photoshop and Aperture to edit his photographs.  I love the way Daniel Forster captures the beauty and power of the sea!
