Ellen Von Unwerth
Since the
beginning of Ellen Von Unwerth’s career as an adult, she
has been photographing or has been the subject of photography. In the photography
industry, she is noted for her fashion photography because she pushes the
limits of female sexuality in photography and in fashion. She has created
outstanding editorial pages for famous magazines.
I love Ms.
Unwerth’s photos. She seems to capture
amazing photos effortlessly. I enjoy the first black and white photo because
certain parts of the women, like her hair, earrings, lips and eye makeup really
stand out against the lack of color. I like the second photo because even
though there are a lot of different prints in the clothes, shoes and rug, the
photo does not seem to be “over powering”; it is as if it’s like organized
clutter. In the third photo, I love how the model’s earrings say “POW”! It appears as if her earrings match her
facial expression.
