Badalian has been around art his entire life since his parents are both painters. He moved from Armenia to Belgium when he was 9. Around this time, he started to grow a strong interest in art and photography. Badalian has a very high level of artistic talent. Along with photography, he also draws, writes, records music, and makes video. The range of talent that this artist has is nearly impossible for most people to achieve.
The three photographs above are from his series titled "Insanity." It is composed of multiple exposure shots to create a haunting composition. Each photograph in this series is black and white with a careful attention to lighting. Perhaps the decision to make these pictures black and white was to take away from the actual people in the images. Instead, we can look at them and relate the feeling that is conveyed to the feeling we may have within ourselves.
