Paul Graham is a fine-art photographer based in England. He creates photos directly from what he sees in a regular life. In his series "The Great North Road," he photographs places both indoors and outdoors, which are spaces he sees on his travels down the 400 mile long great north road. He utilizes landscape and the people of the area as subject matter. All photographs are made in color to reveal the reality of the towns.  This series was a part of his first book which was self published in 1983.

The overall feeling of the photographs is raw, true and relatable.  The photographs create an accurate feeling of "Ive been there and I can relate, while still seeming to hold details of an individual story.
