Paul D'Amato
In Paul D'Amato's photo of a woman, it is a portrait of her holding what looks like a pillow. D'Amato may have put her into that background on the sidewalk and if she was already holding the pillow, tell her to turn while holding it a certain way with her hand to her face. From what it looks like, it also looks as if he went to this place around the time the sun was setting to get this background.
The landscape picture he has here is of a torn up building. D'Amato would have had to explore around this city to find a building that looks as if it was sliced in half, almost like a doll house. He included the builing on the left and part of the cityscape on the right to bring the photo together. The contrast of orange and blue make the photo great. He also may have taken the photo around sunset to achieve the colors and shadows on the building.
