Here are some of Itamar Freed's work. In his work he seems to really think about the positioning of the models bodies. He is trying to connect the birds to the humans lives. From the looks of the photos Freed may be showing a sense of longing. The models are starring as if they can see right through whatever they are looking at.

 

 

Freed says many of the animals other than the live ones are taxidermic animals and they all lived long lives before being used for this project. In Freed's photos most of the land and scene are made up of neutral and earth tones. But Freed adds color with the eye color of the humans and the fruit.

 

I personally enjoyed the photos. I love the simplicity of the scene where it is not much going on but carries great meaning. The use of the color was a great idea too. Everything in the photos look so earthy until you look at or into the eyes of the models with the piercing blue eye color.
