1. Anthony Hernandez was an urban photographer from that started in the 70's after attending college and being in the Army has a medic. He specialized in contemporary photographs and got his start in Los Angeles. He took photos around the world and captured people in a number of different landscapes. In the 1980's he started working with a large format camera.
2. The photos above were taken over a span from 1983-85 and is title Rodeo Drive. Hernandez was capturing portraits of different types of people and couples walking along the famous street in California. Capturing these photos he was able to show the fashion and style that was popular in the mid 80's.
3. I enjoy all these photos because we are learning and exploring making portraits and landscape photos. These photographs catch the candid moments and show color, shadows, and light that we have to think about while making photos. I think the photos put you right in the moment and keep your eyes busy looking at all the detail in the photos.
