Beth Teller Weekly Post

Bianka Schumann is a Hungarian born artist. She currently is employed as a faculty of Fine Arts  and is a member of The Studio of Young Performers.

In her work titled, "Arkhai", Schumann recalls what it's like to be a young adolescent, through documenting her younger brother and his best friend. In that odd (and at times, awkward) time you're caught between maturity and childhood. There is such an innocence and wild wonder to this work. I have such fond memories about times when my mind would race with the endless possibilites of this magical world and I was able to relive it again through Schumann's piece.
