Stu Gibson

Stuart Gibson was born in Tasmania in 1983 and became a photographer around 2003. His main passions are surfing, snowboarding, and skatboarding. With 90% of his photography being of surfing or water in some way. His life since become a photographer has opened many doors for him and he spends a lot of time traveling a taking photos. He uses a 35mm slide film for almost all of his photography.
I like how Gibson says "to become a great photographer it's not really about who inspires you, but more what inspires you". I like his style of photography and how he doesn't always focus on the finer details of things to  make memorable images. His photos are exactly what I enjoy doing and plan to broaden my skills with water sports and underwater photography. Gibson is very talented and i can only hope to get a job like him one day to work for Red Bull and travel the world.
