Paul Graham is well known internationally as a
fine-art photographer. He was born in United Kingdom, but now works in New
York. In the early 1980's Graham went against the norm of using black and while
film and experimented with colored film. After this a lot of famous
photographers made the switch to colored film. Graham is well known for his
project called "A Shimmer of Possibility," which is a 12 book set.
I really enjoyed Graham's iconic style in his
project "A Shimmer of Possibility. He photographs everyday life in America
in this project. He takes a series of images of the same subject and joins then
together to create twelve short sequences. Graham takes images of everyday life
and makes the images interesting because since he puts them together into one
large piece, it is different that what most audiences are used to.
