Melanie Acevedo is a travel and lifestyle photographer. She has traveled all over for other companies that want her to be the photographer. Acevedo has shot for many well known companies, from Ann Taylor, KitchenAid, Khols, InStyle, and Elle Magazine (and there's many more).
While Acevedo is well known for her professional photography, she ventured out and created a personal, professional photography journey, "52 Weeks". She photographed her personal life every week, as a keepsake for her children. Even though the year has been up, Acevedo has kept the project going, now called "Another 52 Weeks". I chose this particular section because of her use of composition and her use of light in the photographs. Her angles are fun and the shots seem very natural.
