Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams expressed such a passion for the American landscape. He was an environmentalist, and his photos portrayed timeless beauty of nature and the things that surround it. He had huge goals to preserve Americas scenic landscape through his photography. Adam's used 3 main cameras, which were all large format cameras. They ranged from 8x10 to 4x5 to 7x17, which was a special panorama camera and helped him a lot with his scenic landscape photos. 
Adam's vision in his photography was to capture the country's wild and scenic areas. Through his photographs i feel he has given people a sense of  mystique and a realization of the importance of preserving the wilderness we have left in America. His photos give me a sense of how powerful and amazing nature can be. I have a great respect for Ansel Adams and what he worked so hard for to get across through his photography. His photographs are absolutely beautiful and i aspire to capture photo like him one day.
