Ellen Cuylaerts is Belgian photographer who specializes
in underwater photography. The successful underwater imaging is usually done
with specialized equipment and techniques. The amazing underwater photography
can offer exciting and rare photographic opportunities! Animals such as fish
and marine mammals are common subjects, but photographers also pursue
shipwrecks, sunken caves, underwater landscapes, and portraits of
fellow divers.
Ms. Cuylaerts
takes underwater photos in black and white as well as color. I love her artwork!
Her remarkable photography features sting rays beneath the water on the floor
of the ocean with the natural lighting of the sun is simply beautiful. Her close
up photos of the manatee shows the tiny details on the mammal’s skin. She has captured other manatees lying on the ocean’s
floor. I really also enjoy the photo of the sunken ship and the way the diver
in the photo makes himself apart of the photo in an intriguing way. She
captures the natural lighting perfectly. I am extremely intrigued by water and
the marine mammals. I would like to
incorporate underwater photography in my work.
