Toronto based Photographer Wynne Neily received his BFA from Reyerson University. Wynne's work focuses on portraiture like images. His latest project entitled "In Transition" showcases the stages of the artist life during the progression of his transformation from female to male. Each Photograph of the artist depicts his appearance follow different level of testosterone injects.
The Images above come from a few other projects in Wynne's collection such as of centered and littered. I find the Littered project the most intriguing. I really enjoy the incorporation of other media into his images. I feel that the added graphics to each photo takes a pretty common photographed landscape and gives it a new life. The artist photographed the liter in an area and then placed the litter on top of the images taken of that area. His idea was to showcase the idea that litter can tell a little about the person who left it.From this photographer I would want to incorporate mixed media into my photographs.
