JR is an artist that has one of the biggest art galleries in the world. Not because of how big his pictures, or how famous he is but because he takes his art work and literally blows it up so big and paste it on buildings. Because of his work he won the TED prize in 2011. JR takes voices that are not usually heard and places them where they can be heard.
I love JR's use of getting up close and personal with his subjects and he has no fear of displaying things that make people feel uncomfortable. I love how he crops his photos, he crops them in a way that makes his subject more interesting and adds more of an impact on the viewer.
