Michael David Adams is a New York photographer. His
work can be found in many different publications such as Vanity Fair Italy,
Vision, and Vogue Girl Korea. He has been involved in photography since his childhood;
he is very passionate about his work and enjoys the entire process from start
to finish. It is stated on his website that he travels the world looking for
different locations to create his work. He also does underwater photography
which is shown in a few of the pictures above. A quote from Michael “Photography
is so much more than taking a picture, it’s inspiration, it’s spontaneity, it’s
emotion, it’s art…. It’s life”
The five images above are from his Beauty, and
Underwater Gallery. In the first and last two images the natural light bending
effects of water cast unique yet beautiful patterns of light down on his
subjects. This use of water and light is very similar to another artist “Michael
Maller” who I wrote about in a previous blog. One impactful element I found in
his work is his use of color, the best example of this would the third image above.
In this picture the color purple is use to help accent and add emphasize to
subjects face.
