Born in Austrian-Hungarian, 1913-1954. Capa started out in as a freelance writer and then later found work in photography. Capa was known during his time as a War Photographer.
Robert Capa photographed the action of war, from the Spanish Civil War to World War II. He captured the life during war in his photography. Taking photos of men being shot to taking photos of children and women. His work is different in the way he captures moments of time that no one would even think of to get close enough to get.
